School Information
Glenvar Elementary is located in the western part of the Roanoke County School System, in Salem, Virginia. We have approximately 350 students in grades preschool through fifth grade.
Our instructional faculty is composed of:
- 18 regular education teachers;
- 12 Special Education resource teachers/therapists;
- a physical education teacher;
- a music teacher;
- an art teacher;
- a librarian;
- a reading specialist;
- a school counselor
- an English language learner teacher
- A 4emediation teacher
- 14 instructional assistants
Glenvar Elementary has an active PTA and volunteer program.
